From golf days to marathons, and football to firewalks, we’ve got a great line up of events this year. Take a look at what we’ve got planned and help raise funds to support local people affected by cancer.
Norfolk Marathon

EPIC Norfolk are organising a fantastic new event – a road marathon right here in glorious Norfolk!
The route will take you through picturesque countryside and coastal villages, with a breathtaking finish line overlooking Cromer Pier and the sea.
100k in May
1 – 31 May
Whether you walk the dog, have a family cycle, hit the gym, canoe along the river or walk the Norfolk coastal path, we’re challenging you to complete 100 kilometres in May!
It could be on your own, with your friends or getting the whole family involved to reach your target. However you choose to take part, do it your way.
Big C XI | Charity Football Match
18 May
Get your family and friends together and join us for a day of football, penalty shoot-outs and fun!
Enjoy watching the beautiful game with a great line-up including ex-Norwich City Football players Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan, Simon Lappin, Cedric Anselin, Simeon Jackson, Mike Milligan and others!
Norwich 100/60/30
2 June
Join fellow cyclists and fundraisers for this classic and beautiful 100, 60 or 30-mile bike ride around Norfolk!
Each route starts from City Hall and takes in the edge of the Broads, after which point you will take a different route depending on the distance you have chosen to cycle.
Big C’s Skydive
9 June
Are you ready to take the leap and jump for Big C?
There’s nothing quite like the challenge of jumping out of a plane on a tandem skydive, and the exhilaration you’ll feel as you free-fall through the sky!
During the six minutes or so under the parachute, you will enjoy breath-taking and unique views of the local area and beyond.
Stoke by Nayland Golf Day
3 July
Join Big C for its second Charity Golf Day on the 18-hole championship course at the beautiful Stoke by Nayland Hotel & Spa.
The day will start with sausage sandwiches and coffee before heading out on to the beautifully kept course for your team’s round.
You’ll then head back to the hotel for a two course meal and prize giving.
Bure Valley Walk
18 August
Whether you’re up for the challenge of walking 18 miles, or you’d prefer a shorter distance of 9 miles, join us as we meander along the Bure Valley path, through beautiful Norfolk countryside.
Big C’s Firewalk
15 September
Get your adrenaline pumping and step out of your comfort zone this September by taking on the Big C Firewalk.
Join us for the hottest challenge this year and brave the walk over hot coals in front of Norwich Castle at the picturesque Castle Quarter Gardens. You will start with a motivational briefing from the team at Firewalk, and then head to the coals to take your walk.
Golf Day at Bawburgh
10 October
The annual Big C Golf Day is back at Bawburgh Golf Club! Join us for a day of golf, food and socialising.
Enjoy 18-holes in the knowledge that each shot you take is helping to improve the lives of those affected by cancer locally.
Autumn Blickling Half Marathon
20 October
The Autumn Blickling Half Marathon is an event not to be missed! The route will take you through some of the most scenic parts of the North Norfolk countryside.
A sell out event every year, this half marathon promises to be a race to remember.

Could host and facilitate a support group allowing people affected by cancer to share experiences and support each other.

Could provide a complementary therapy course to ease some of the physical psychological and emotional side effects of life with cancer.

Could enable Big C to provide weekly outreach support at a part time hub important to more rural communities.
