“Following the glowing success of last year’s inaugural Big C Fire walk, Yellow Brick Mortgages are delighted to again sponsor this amazing event, which provides a chance for more fundraisers to brave the coals in support of Big C and their mission to help all those affected by cancer. We highly value our relationship with Big C and look forward to this exciting event.”

Can friends and family come to watch?

Family and friends are more than welcome to come along and watch but only Firewalkers will be allowed in the pre-event briefing.

How much does it cost?

There is an entry fee of £15 to cover the cost of the challenge, and we kindly ask that you commit to raising a minimum of £100 for Big C in sponsorship. You can pay your entry fee below to secure your place, our fundraising team will then be in touch with further details.

Is there an age restriction?

You must be 18 years or older to take part.

What happens in the motivational briefing?

The motivational briefing is a seminar hosted by the Firewalk team. In a typical seminar we spend the first 30 minutes covering the liability release waiver that each participant has signed. Each seminar participant must sign the waiver. There are no exceptions.

Attendees often say that they just want to attend the seminar. However afterwards, they say they wish to fire walk. Attendees may sign the waiver, then of course decide that they do not wish to walk, which is fine. Only tagged, and waiver signed attendees can do the firewalk.
