Together, we improve the lives of local people affected by cancer.

We are here for anyone affected by cancer at any stage, from diagnosis and treatment, to life beyond cancer.

Do you need support?

Cancer affects us all in many different ways; we know it can be a difficult time. Whether you’d like to talk in confidence, get practical support or have a calm space away, we can help.

Looking for information?

When diagnosed with cancer the amount of information you have to take in can sometimes be overwhelming. Learning new words and meanings, finding out about a diagnosis and what the future may look like can be challenging.

We’re here to help you work through all of this, with clear information and a wide range of resources.

    We’ve helped people like Helen

Helen came across Big C after a nurse mentioned the charity at hospital and put a card in her pack. Since then Helen has used many of our support services and programmes. This is her story…

We’ve helped people like Janice & Eddie

“I wouldn’t really believe it was possible, but it has, and is, changing lives. Sometimes I think we all have a purpose in this world, and I wonder whether I was ill to actually create Big C as it is today.”
