The Great Yarmouth Support Centre is located in the centre of town on Regent Street. If visiting for the first time, you’ll soon be transported away from the hustle and bustle of the street to a relaxing, cosy space, where you’ll find comfort and a listening ear. The staff and volunteers at the Centre can help support you in the best way for you and those close to you.

Our Support Centres are available on a drop-in and appointment basis. We also offer a full range of support online and by telephone, ensuring you can access our services in which ever form suits you best.

I oversee the running of the Great Yarmouth Support and Information Centre so that it runs efficiently, whilst offering the best possible support to our service users. I also supervise our team of fantastic Support and Information Officers, volunteers, and service providers.

I had previously heard of Big C but didn’t realise the breadth of support services available, and I think that what Big C offers is fantastic. I love being part of the Big C team!

I support individuals affected by cancer and facilitate the men’s support group in Great Yarmouth.

My interest in humanism and desire to better understand cancer from an individualistic point of view is what attracted me to Big C. Had I known about the free support that Big C offers, when my father was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2012, I like to think I would have dared to walk through that door—because what awaits behind it is not to be feared, but to be delighted in.
