Playing the Big C Lottery gives you the chance to win a £25,000 jackpot plus many other fantastic cash prizes every week, and at the same time, you’re helping to raise vital funds to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
How to play
Choose to support Big C by playing our lottery in 3 easy steps:
1– Pick how many £1 entries you’d like to play each week.
2– Click to join online by Direct Debit or Debit Card, or alternatively download the Unity Lottery postal form.
3– Fill out your details and click submit.
You’ll receive your lottery numbers in the post, and Unity Lottery will let you know when you will start playing.
If you win, they’ll contact you, so there’s no need to claim your prize!
Winning numbers
You will be allocated with a unique six-digit lottery number, which will remain yours for as long as you wish to keep playing. You can purchase more than one lottery number if you wish. Winners have to match 3, 4, 5 or all 6 digits of the winning number in the correct place in the sequence.
Every Friday, the numbers are published on the Unity Lottery website.
Where does the money go?
Big C’s four main areas of work focus on supporting local people affected by cancer, funding world-class research at Norwich Research Park, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county’s main hospitals and educating people about cancer to improve early diagnosis.

The Big C Lottery is a fun weekly charity lottery draw to raise money to support local people affected by cancer. Entry costs £1 per play and there is a weekly jackpot of £25,000 as well as other cash prizes.

The Big C Lottery is an alternative way of raising vital funds to support our work. The lottery helps us to engage with new audiences who may not have considered donating to Big C previously. The great thing about the Big C Lottery is that we’re offering our supporters the chance to be a winner every week while raising money to support those affected by cancer.
- How does it work?

Big C’s lottery is managed by Unity Lottery (Sterling Management Centre Ltd), a UK company with more than 20 years’ experience of running lotteries for charities.
You can play for as little as £1 per week. For every £1 you play each week you will receive a unique 6-digit lottery number, which will remain yours for as long as you keep playing. You can purchase more than one lottery number if you wish.
Every Friday, Unity generate a random 6-digit winning number sequence (all numbers are between 0 and 9). If your digits are in the same positions as the digits in the winning number sequence, you win a prize!
For example, if the winning number sequence was 6 7 4 3 0 7 and your lottery number is 7 2 4 3 1 7, you will have matched 3 digits in the sequence because three are positioned in the same place.

- 4-digit match wins £25
- 3-digit match wins five entries into the next draw
- For every £1 played on our Weekly Lottery, a minimum of 50p will come straight to Big C. The rest of the income is split between the prize pot (18.4%) and administration costs (31.6%).

Each £1 entry has a 1 in 63 chance of winning one of four fantastic prizes.
- How do I claim my prize if I win?

If you win, your prize cheque will be sent to you automatically, so there is no need for you to make a claim. You can of course check the latest lottery results anytime by visiting www.unitylottery.co.uk.
