Create your fundraising page

Setting up an online fundraising page with JustGiving is the quickest and most effective way to collect sponsorship funds. You can create your fundraising page in minutes and provide your friends and family with an easy and safe way to donate. You can also set up a JustTextGiving code for people to donate to you from their mobile via text. Our partnership with JustGiving means the money you raise is passed directly on to us without the need for any further input from you.

Making the most of your JustGiving page

Your page

As soon as you have signed up for your fundraising event or decided on your fundraising activity, use this momentum to get your JustGiving page live.

Your story

Use the Story section of your JustGiving page to let people know why you are fundraising for Big C. Making a personal connection means people are more likely to sponsor you.

Photos & videos

Uploading photos and videos of your training or your fundraising journey, will personalise your page and make it engaging for a wider audience.

Donations

Start posting on your page with training updates, to encourage early donations. Don’t forget a large percentage of donations will come in immediately before and just after the event.

Social sharing

JustGiving makes it really easy to share your page with everyone you know via social media, email and online link. Make sure to tell everyone about your page

Gift Aid

Gift Aid means Big C can collect 25% extra for each qualifying donation. Be sure to remind sponsors to check this option when they donate. Find out more about Gift Aid here.
