Big C and Cadent team up to offer free year-round energy support
Households that have been impacted by cancer in Norfolk will now be able to access free energy efficiency support and information after Big C was added to Cadent’s award-winning Centre for Warmth programme.
Big C’s 2025 PhD studentship grant round is open until 31 August, reinforcing our commitment to funding world-class cancer research and investing in the next generation of cancer researchers.
If you’re heading to The Royal Norfolk Show on 25 – 26 June look out for Big C on the entrance gates. We will be offering sunscreen to people as they arrive to enjoy a day at the show.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Moar MBE, beloved founder and president of Big C Cancer Charity who died on Saturday 24 May 2025, at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Norfolk’s Reuse shops have been supporting Big C over the last three years, giving a share of the proceeds from the shop sales. We’re delighted to announce that during this period, the partnership has raised £87,000, including £33,938 in the last year alone!
