Big C and Cadent team up to offer free year-round energy support
Households that have been impacted by cancer in Norfolk will now be able to access free energy efficiency support and information after Big C was added to Cadent’s award-winning Centre for Warmth programme.
If you’re heading to The Royal Norfolk Show on 25 – 26 June look out for Big C on the entrance gates. We will be offering sunscreen to people as they arrive to enjoy a day at the show.
On Thursday 16th March, a group of people with a cancer diagnosis and their supporters, enjoyed a morning of cooking with local cancer charity, Big C, at the Charles Burrell Centre in Thetford.
Big C will be joining the ‘WOW’ Bus (Wellness on Wheels) in Lowestoft. The charity will be offering free support to those who may have questions about cancer and raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer to promote earlier diagnosis.
Norfolk Cancer Charity, Big C, has launched its own Health Academy as part of the organisation’s Education Division and in line with NHS Core20PLUS5 initiative.
Celly and The Big C is an educational video game created in partnership with Big C Cancer Charity and Norwich University of the Arts, with the aim of supporting upper primary school-aged children in understanding cancer treatment.
