Margaret & John’s story

John’s wife Margaret was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in July 2022. The couple decided to pay a visit to the Big C Centre at Norwich Hospital to find out more about the Centre and what support might be available. This is their story…

We were very warmly welcomed by Adelle who sat us down and brought us coffee and biscuits. We had a lovely chat with her and were immediately put at ease. Since then, we have visited Big C on many occasions. The reception we get is always a wonderful experience. 

Everyone we meet, without exception, has such a wonderful way about them and nothing is too much trouble. We have received help, support and advice both practically and mentally from the Big C team, and we are so grateful to the organisation.
