Blickling Spring Half Marathon

The Blickling Spring Half Marathon is an event not to be missed! The route will take you through some of the most scenic parts of the North Norfolk countryside, starting and finishing in front of the iconic Blickling Hall, near Aylsham.

Run by EPIC Norfolk (Exercising People In Communities), this half marathon will be a two lap course through the Blickling Estate, with a short road section. You can view the route course here.
This is an England Athletics Certified Course with Chip Timing and a finishers medal for every participant.
The Blickling Half Marathon takes place twice a year; in the spring it starts and finishes in front of Blickling Hall itself and is a multi-terrain route, in the autumn the race starts and finishes in Aylsham, is 100% on road and takes you through the surrounding villages around Aylsham and Blickling.

Training
Running a half marathon is an incredible achievement. The earlier you start your training, the better, and there are plenty of guides around to help you prepare.
Once your place is confirmed, our fundraising team can advise you on training plans and how best to get ready for the challenge.

- Are there toilets available enroute?

There will be a couple of toilets available in the car park but most of them will be near the start line (please use the hire toilets and not National trust ones). There will be portable toilets available on the course which you will cross twice – at 0.5 miles and at 7.25 miles.
- Is there parking available?

Race parking will only be permitted in a private area of the estate, please car share where possible. Marshals will direct you to the car park. Please do not park in the National Trust Car Park.
