Apply for funding

Funding for Support Groups
Grants are available for support groups who have proven they can (or will) provide a valuable service to a group of individuals affected by cancer, however that group is defined (geographically, cancer type etc). Grants of up to £1000 will be given to applications which fit within the funding guidelines and which receive approval from the Big C Care and Support Committee.
If your organisation is a registered charity or you are seeking a grant of more than £1000, please contact us to identify whether your proposal fits within Big C’s investment strategies. If appropriate, we can offer guidance as to how to make a formal application.

Big C are looking for innovative ways to support those affected by cancer and are offering one-off grants for a development of an existing programme or a totally new project which will complement current services provided. We are looking for new ways to adapt current practice, the development and use of technology or completely new ideas that will go towards reducing isolation and anxiety, increasing confidence, improve access to services, improve income and develop a better knowledge of illness leading to increased wellbeing for those affected by cancer in Norfolk and Waveney.

We run two grants rounds annually and the deadlines are 31st March and 31stAugust. Applications may be submitted at any time but must be submitted electronically and a hard copy provided by 5pm on the deadline date. Applicants are advised to submit their applications well in advance of any notional starting date for the project to allow ample time for the assessment process.
