Is there any further reading I can do?
Yes. There are many books in the cancer collection funded by Big C and Macmillan. There are also books and leaflets in the free library at the Big C Centre.

Are there any support groups in my area?
Yes there are many support groups around Norfolk & Waveney covering many aspects of cancer for different groups of people. For a full list of support groups in your area, go to Support Groups Near You
Is there anywhere I can go for counselling?
The Big C Cancer Support and Information Centre offers 6 free sessions of counselling each to cancer patients and one carer. Click on Support to find out more or call 01603 286112 to speak to staff or volunteers at the Centre.

Where can I go to find more information about my specific cancer type?
The Big C Centre based at the Norwich Hospital offers a whole host of information from trained specialists who understand your situation. Please call 01603 286112 for more information about the Big C Centre.

There are also Big C Welfare Advice services in Kings Lynn and Waveney areas. This service will help you with financial advice concerning debt, grants, loans, benefits as well as other matters such as childcare, household worries, employment and relationships. If you'd like to book an appointment please call 01502 525852 for Great Yarmouth/Waveney area or 01553 613205 for Kings Lynn area.

If you can't get to an appointment, perhaps you'd like to view some information online. The NHS has a comprehensive Information Prescription service that provides all kinds of advice relating to your specific cancer type in your local area.
