Rise to the challenge of holding your own Big Cuppa for Big C throughout our Big Cuppa week from 3 April – 9 April 2017! 

We knead you to join our Big C community by taking part in the Big Cuppa Week for those affected by cancer in Norfolk & Waveney. 

The Big Cuppa is a great excuse to get your friends, family, colleagues and local community together to enjoy a nice cup of tea. You can raise money by asking for small donations towards cakes and refreshments.
So, let’s get cracking! Here is a big helping of useful tips for holding a Big Cuppa that will go down an absolute treat!
  • ?Organise where your event will take place. Are you going big for Big C in a town hall? Will you hold it in your office? Or do you prefer a smaller, cosy get-together with some friends and family?
  • Choose a date and send out those Big Cuppa invites with your refined details.
  • Butter up your friends, family and colleagues to perhaps help with the decorating or baking – it’s the yeast they can do for a great cause! Maybe suggest a bake-off to your friends or colleagues – the more cake the merrier! A little bit of not-so-healthy competition!
  • Stick up those Big Cuppa posters, bring out the fine china and a decorated jam jar or two for collecting those donations in your venue of choice then…
  • Hold your Big Cuppa! Enjoy tucking into your tea and cakes. Judge that bake-off competition, maybe hold a Big quiz for Big C or a colouring competition for the kids.
  • Share the fun on social media by tagging us into your posts - @bigctweets on Twitter,  or @bigcharity on Facebook and Instagram.
  • After you’ve polished off those last crumbs then send in the dough you’ve raised for us via an online fundraising page, BACs or cheque. For more details contact our fundraising team!
  • Once your sweet donation is in, we will then send you out a thank you letter and certificate.
