In Norfolk and Waveney, 900 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer, on average, every year1. It is the most common cancer in men in the UK. 112 men are diagnosed every day.
However, treatments and diagnostic equipment are improving. In the East of England in 2009, over 68% of men were diagnosed in stage 22, meaning a much higher chance of survival.
Big C are committed to making sure the best equipment is available at our local hospitals, to ensure early diagnosis and better treatment.
