Lung cancer

Around 700 people per year1 are diagnosed with lung cancer in Norfolk and Waveney. In 2009, 39% of people were diagnosed with lung cancer in the East Of England in the late stages at stage 42.

The more we can do to ensure people with lung cancer are diagnosed earlier, the higher the chance of survival they will have. Big C are committed to making sure the best equipment is available at our local hospitals, to ensure early diagnosis and better treatment.
