A dedicated bridal floor at the Big C Charity Shop on Timberhill, Norwich was officially opened by Clare Weller of Anglia TV at 10.30am on Friday 7th September 2008.

Big C had a fantastic response to the wedding dress appeal in August 2008, receiving well over 300 wedding dresses with more arriving by the day. As a result, Big C has transformed their first floor into a bridal haven aiming to make a perfect day that little bit more special and unique.
The bridal floor showcases an array of wedding dresses from 1950 to 2008, as well as tiaras, flowers, veils, shoes, bridesmaid dresses and outfits for the Mother of the bride and the groom. Most have been worn just the once but some are brand new and it is thanks to all those generous people around the county that Big C now has a whole new department.

Donations of wedding dresses are still welcomed and can be either taken to the Timberhill shop (01603 761029) or can be collected. For further information contact Big C on 01603 619900.
