Go Dad Run was established by athlete Colin Jackson, speaking of Go Dad Run, Colin says:

"By bringing together dads and sons, brothers and cousins, neighbours, workmates and friends who are willing to get involved in a run and play their part in getting men to think about their minds and bodies we hope that we can have a positive effect on their lives and health.

Since launching Go Dad Run I have been overwhelmed by the personal stories of the runners and their friends and families and that is all the motivation that we need to keep growing and raising money and awareness.

We’d love Go Dad Run to become THE running event for men and boys to participate in every year and for the whole project to become a fun and inclusive family tradition. And it is important to make it open to all men which is why we are encouraging people to walk or jog round the course and not think that it is just a race."
