Could you help feedback about your radiotherapy service at NNUH?

We welcome Sarah from the UEA to talk about how you can get involved with the radiotherapy service at NNUH:

My name is Sarah Barber and I have worked as a radiographer for 18 years.

I am currently studying at the University of East Anglia and as part of my qualification I am conducting a service evaluation looking at the radiotherapy service at NNUH. I am interested to hear from patients who have had or who are currently receiving radiotherapy treatment to find out what you would like from the service.

Invitation

I am interested to hear about what you want from the radiotherapy service, and what is most important to you.

By doing this, we will be able to see if we are providing a service which meets your needs. It will also show us any areas where we can make improvements.

We have not asked patients what they need from our service before. This is a chance for you to tell us what you want, and what is most important.

Why do I want you to take part?

I would like to invite you to take part because:

  • You are currently having radiotherapy treatment at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

Or you have had radiotherapy treatment at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital within the last 12 months.

  • You are aged 18 years or above.
  • English speaking.
  • Able to read and write.

What will I have to do?

This project is in 2 phases, this leaflet is about phase I.

I am going to be running a group session on 19th April at 13:00 – 14:30 at the Big C Information and Support Centre.

The session will take up to 90 minutes of your time, light refreshments will be provided.

The purpose of the session is to produce a top 10 list of points that you would like to see from the radiotherapy service. This will help the department to see if there are any areas of the service which we can be improved.
