Fantastic fundraisers!

We're celebrating more of your recent fantastic fundraising achievements. Throughout the year people do all sorts to raise funds for Big C, some take to the skies, run, jump, walk, cycle; whilst others make tea, bake cakes, and donate items to raise funds for Big C – whatever the activity, you directly help local people affected by cancer.

Keri Williamson Tri-athlon!
Keri Williamson recently took part in the Woodhall Spa Sprint Triathlon for Big C raising more than £400! Keri says her inspiration to take up the challenge was her mum, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer "...her diagnosis came completely out of the blue after a routine mammogram and it knocked us all for six. She's had such a tough battle but shown a strength I didn't know she even had. She's endured two operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy over the last 6 months and I'm so proud of her..."

Hannah's Garden Party!
7 year-old Hannah from Blofield also got in the fundraising spirit by hosting her own garden party with friends from her local school and Brownies club. Inspired by her mum who is taking part in our upcoming Colour5K, Hannah set about arranging for her friends to enjoy games, cakes and drinks in her garden. Supported by her parents Karen and Rob, Hannah asked for donations for going on her trampoline, with Tesco donating £10 towards cakes, Hannah's Garden Party has raised an amazing £160.08.

Finally, our friends over at Simply Sing Community Choir and Sutton Bridge Gospel Choir gathered once again for Big C at their recent Summer Concert raising £320 in the process.

A very big thank you to Keri, Hannah, Simply Sing & Sutton Bridge Choirs and everyone who fundraises for Big C.
