Big C CEO Daniel Williams to step down

 Big C’s Chief Executive sets out on a new venture
Daniel Williams, Chief Executive of Big C - Norfolk's Cancer Charity, has announced that he will be standing down from this position at Big C later this year, after eight years in post.  Daniel will be building his own consultancy, ‘YourNorfolk’, focusing his experience across the wider spectrum of voluntary sector activities in the County.
Philip Blanchflower, Chairman of Big C, says;
“During Daniel's time with us Big C has expanded its income and activities very considerably.  Whilst continuing to provide funding for research, including its recent £250,000 grant towards the Bob Champion Research & Education Building; it has developed its support and information services for patients and families, opening centres in Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn, and expanding activities at the Big C Centre at NNUH.  The Trustees feel a deep sense of gratitude to Daniel for his outstanding leadership in achieving this success, and he carries our best wishes in his new undertaking."
Daniel says
“The experience of working with inspirational Trustees, staff and volunteers, and of being able to contribute to the Big C story is one that I will always treasure. My greatest inspiration has been the bravery and determination of so many of those affected by cancer themselves to make a difference for those that follow”.
