On Saturday 8th November, the Big C centre will be holding a cancer Information Day from 10.30am – 3.30pm. This event will bring together hospital professionals and charities to inform patients and their close ones of the help that is available to them. Many issues will be discussed, including advice on work, talking to children, healthy eating and money matters.
With talks every half hour, and stands supplying information from local and national charities, the Citizens advice bureau and many more, there will be something for everyone. The talks will cover a broad range of topics from diet and lifestyle to a seated Zumba session, and will be held throughout the day by healthcare Professionals.

Jill Chapman, the Big C Centre Manager says:
‘There is a lot of information, advice and support in our region but we need to make sure people have the opportunity to find out about it. As we know, everyone’s situation is different, which is why we’re working with other charities and specialists to offer this day.’
Refreshments will be on offer throughout the day and the event is free, so there’s no need to book.
