Our fantastic cancer awareness champions

We've started an Awareness Campaign and our mission is to make sure members of the public are aware of cancer, its symptoms, effects and what support and help there is out there for people.

We've got 6 fantastic Cancer Awareness Champions already and are hoping to recruit more. So far they have reached 130 members of the public, armed with information, helping people understand what to look out for and where they can go for help.

So far our champions have been to Snettisham, King's Lynn, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Golf Clubs in Middleton, Bawburgh and Sheringham.

Cancer Awareness Champions are volunteers who's aim is to spread awareness of cancer throughout the county. They are trained to a very high level and are active throughout Norfolk and Waveney. They are highly valued members of the Big C team. The next course to run is called "Train the Trainer' and is beingheld at the end of July.
