The Louise Hamilton Centre is a project that's been years in the making, with fundraising starting way back in 2007. Palliative Care East have tirelessly fundraised all this time and now all that hard work has really come to fruition.
The Louise Hamilton Centre is open to the public from March 4th, with Open Days on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February.
The Centre itself is set in the grounds of the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston near Great Yarmouth and is an amazing, light, airy and modern building. Inside, a whole host of different charities are coming together to support people and their families and carers who have been affected by any life-limiting or chronic illness, including cancer. The Centre is a safe haven, a place where people can step away from the Hospital and get the extra support they need when they most need it. From diagnosis (including while yu're waiting for a diagnosis) through to treatment, survivorship and palliative care.
Big C will be in there offering support and information, welfare advice, complementary therapies and more to anyone who needs it.

if you'd like to speak to someone at the Centre. Come and visit on one of the Open Days to see how we, or any of the other charities offering their services, can help you.
