Take a break from day-to-day pressures and spend a tranquil day enjoying relaxation exercises, guided imagery, meditations and a reflective walk on a canvas labyrinth as part of retreat day Gentle Space next month.
The day will be led by Ruth Sewell. Ruth has an NHS background and now works independently as a teacher, retreat leader, and psychotherapist. She has more than 25 years of experience working with people whose lives are, or have been, affected by cancer. She has been leading small group retreats for many years and is interested in supporting people to find the best ways to enrich their lives by balancing life pressures, staying well and living life to its fullest potential.
No previous experience of any of the exercises and activities is required and the day is open to patients and professionals.
The day will be held on 21 April at Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road, Ipswich IP4 5PD. It will start at 9.30am and finish at 4pm.
The day costs £65, including a buffet lunch and beverages, and only 20 places are available so early booking is advised.
To book a place, or find out more, call Ruth Sewell on 01626 779649 or 07872 907179 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or Annie.Hallett@ipswichhospital.nhs.uk
