Richard's 24-hour river paddle

Intrepid Richard Brooks is challenging himself to 24 hours in a kayak on the River Dart to raise money for us!
The challenge starts on 17 February at 2pm and finishes at 2pm the next day.  Richard will be paddling seven kilometres of white water -   the length of 147 Olympic swimming pools - more than 20 times.
The Dart is in Dartmoor National Park and the section Richard will be paddling is between Dartmeet and Newbridge. The river is graded at a 4 for paddlers, the second hardest grading.
