New depot to open

Big C’s brand new depot for processing donations is to open for business in Wymondham in two weeks.
The depot, at 4 Allenbrooks Way, services the whole of the county. Clothes are cleaned, sorted and tagged. Bric-a-brac is cleaned and washed, and small electrical items are tested.
While most of the depot is used for processing donations, it has a showroom where items can be bought.
Doors will open on 26 July.
Donations can be dropped off between 10am and 4pm and will be taken by appointment only. Most items will be welcome, but Big C is unable to take large electrical items like microwaves, TVs and white goods. However, smaller electrical items are accepted.
The depot will also be home to the Big C craft club, where volunteers knit, sew and make things to be sold to raise funds for Big C. Looking for other craft clubs around the county – for more information ring Wendy at the depot on 01953 603320.
